It's always a good thing when local farmers/businesses can put out a better product than the big name brands. And the Bertie county peanuts are HUGE which is good for them cause the peanut crop around a large area of eastern NC was not very good for the 2022 season.

All the additives give them a tantalizing flavor along with a lot of calories, and a good candidate for controlled consumption. A year or two ago, we received a 30 oz. jar of your honey roasted peanuts as a gift. We were instantly hooked and extremely impressed by the size of the nuts. The jar label talks about the other brands selling "cute, little, round peanuts". When we received our order, we noticed these were NOT the same size as in the past. What happened? Please tell me it was a bad year for peanuts or some sort of supply chain issue and the large peanuts will be back soon.

I must say that thanks to the NC Museum of History, I was introduced to the wide range of nuts available from Bertie County. While we here in Charlotte can find their blister fried peanuts in any HT, it's too bad that they don't carry their other products - especially the honey-roasted peanuts! This is the second time I have ordered these and I love them! I think they are better than the Planters brand so I ordered another 30oz tub of the Honey Roasted Peanuts and a few other things as well.

PBS show about Bertie County Peanuts tempted me to order. Got both the Blister Fried and Honey Roasted Peanuts. The Honey Roasted were gone in a day! Great flavor and texture. Will order more soon.
