I used to live in Greensboro, NC, and some of my co-workers used to bring in peanuts that they made at home some how. They were the best peanuts I ever ate. Was never able to find any peanuts that came close to those home made peanuts. I still don't know how they made them. I don't think you can go wrong with Bertie County Peanuts. We first discovered them while on vacation to Hilton Head 3 years ago. We went to one of the small towns nearby (Bluffton?) and in one of the shops, the owner raved about these peanuts that he was selling. He convinced us to buy a jar, but we only bought one because we figured a peanut is a peanut and what could be so special about these. We left the shop, opened the jar to taste them and I kid you not, we didn't even get 2 shops down the street before we turned about and bought more jars from that shop! We've been ordering ever since - Blister fried, honey roasted, salt and pepper, wasabi and soy, choc covered, you name it! And we've turned a lot of other people onto them as well. You won't be disappointed if you or these!
