The absolute best . Taste exactly like they did when i was a child back in Franklin ,Va. Pleasee dont mess them up by double dipping chocolate. They are perfect with one coat.

I ordered the chocolate covered peanuts and didn't like the low grade of chocolate used to coat them, neither was it enough chocolate. I would much rather have bought chocolate covered peanuts with a thick coating of a richer chocolate.

I enjoy chocolate covered peanuts (CCPs). I grew up eating them. My dad carried them in his pickup truck as a snack. He would give them to me as a reward for being brave after he had to slam on the brakes and I bounced off the dash (don't blame him; that's the way they used to do it in the 50's). Apparently his left arm was not sufficiently strong to over come the effects of inertia. Anyway,these are the absolute, unequivocal BEST ever. And, You can quote me.

The chocolate covered peanuts are absolutely delicious. My uncle, a NC resident, gave me a jar for Christmas and they were the best chocolate covered peanuts I had ever eaten. I've been buying raw peanuts from Bertie Co. for 30 years, but I had never tried any of the novelty products. The chocolate covered peanuts are incredible! The semi-dark chocolate and the touch of salt are a perfect blend, setting off the peanut flavor that is found only in eastern NC peanuts. I'll never be able to eat another grocery-store peanut product!

Usually I am very satisfied with the products I receive from Bertie Co. Peanuts, however on this order I was very disappointed. The chocolate covered peanuts were stale and I had one serving and tossed the remainder in the trash can. I will not order them again. Bertie County Peanuts I know you can do better.

I gave your chocolate covered peanuts as gifts one Christmas to my in-laws as something from back home that they might enjoy. The next year, everyone was disappointed; we had different gifyts and they had "been looking forward to getting those peanuts again". So now I must order some every November. P.S. I can taste the Bertie County dirt, the way it smells, in the peanuts, having grown them with my dad, "Plucker", back in the day.

We were planning to mail peanut products to our clients for a summer "we're nuts about you" campaign. Our office tried the chocolate covered, honey roasted and blister fried peanuts. The results were 100% thumbs down. "Tasteless" "stale" "taste old" were the comments. Badly disappointed.

We have tried many different chocolate covered peanuts over the years. Frankly I can say we have not found better than Bertie. The dark chocolate is very good (yummy) yet doesn't overwhelm the peanut taste. We love the peanuts and enjoy the change. You know with every bite you are eating chocolate covered peanuts. We order in large quantities in the months we can and nurse them through the months they won't ship.

First time ordering this product. Not as good as butterscotch. Taste like dark more bitter chocolate, not enough chocolate flavor for me. Coating of chocolate was a bit waxy, not creamy chocolate.

I bought these peanuts for Christmas one year when I was living on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They have become an annual Christmas tradition. I have moved several times and these peanuts are always at my door for Christmas. Bertie County Peanuts are absolute quality peanuts and the staff is phenomenal. If I ever travel through Windsor, I'm going to be sure to stop by the store!

Bought a small jar of these delicious peanuts at the Estuarium in Washington, NC. Ate them all before we got home! Bought another jar and took it home before opening. It lasted 36 hours. Stepped up to 30 ounce jar. It lasted 3 days. You might as well by a case -- you're going to need it! These are delicious!!

Bertie County, North Carolina has a rich agricultural and agribusiness history. The wonderful people the County are proud of their "living close to the land" heritage. One aspect of that heritage is growing and harvesting my favorite legumes. Bertie County Peanuts does an excellent job at providing, as a reasonable price and on a timely basis, the best peanuts in the world. The variety of flavoring and seasonings, especially "chocolate covered", are a great snack, appetizer, and all around healthy food.

NC Native here now living in cold Ohio. I first bought these in a specialty North Carolina products store at Crabtree Mall in Raleigh while home visiting family for Christmas. The store only had 1 jar left so I bought it just to try. I have had many different brands from NC sellers and locally in Ohio.
